About us
Trevino’s Auto Mart has been selling vehicles in McAllen since 1992. We’re an independent dealer that runs like a big store, with the same lenders the franchise dealers use and a real sales process, without the big-store hours. We close at 7:00 on weeknights and 4:30 on Saturdays, and we make that work by being all in while we’re open. We’re a small team, we’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced salesperson who takes the work seriously. You’ll work directly with the sales manager and the general manager from day one.

The job
We’re hiring someone who already knows how to sell cars and can start working leads and walk-ins right away. If you’ve been selling at a franchise store and want the same lenders and process with your evenings back, this is that job.

What you’ll do

• Greet customers, find out what they need, present vehicles, and take test drives
• Work internet leads and past customers daily by phone and text to set appointments
• Send short personalized videos to customers before their visits
• Work with the sales manager on pricing, trade-ins, and financing options
• Keep the CRM current and your pipeline organized
• Build repeat and referral business, including through your own social media

Requirements

• At least 1 year of vehicle sales experience at a dealership (required)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• A track record you can speak to: units per month, closing ratio, how you work your leads
• Experience working a CRM and following a defined sales process
• Self-motivated; you manage your own follow-up without being reminded
• Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, available Saturdays

Pay
Commission-based. Estimated earnings of $40,000–$80,000 a year, which reflects selling 13–20 vehicles a month; actual earnings depend on the vehicles you sell. We go over the full pay plan during the interview. We have 4 sales people, stock 100+ units and our store sells 40-75 cars a month.

Schedule
Monday–Friday 9:30 AM–7:00 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM–4:30 PM, with one day off per week. Closed Sundays. Schedules may change based on business needs.
